🌀 Issue #3 — The Productivity Trap

The Productivity Trap

We’ve been sold a promise:
If you just get efficient enough, you’ll be free.

But here’s the catch: productivity has no finish line.
The better you get at doing more — the more you’re expected to do.

Apps now track your focus.
AI helps you “optimize” your schedule.
You finish tasks faster... but somehow feel more behind.

That’s not a human problem.
That’s a machine logic applied to a human life.

Because you are not a machine.

You're not here to maximize output per hour.
You're not a spreadsheet waiting to be optimized.

You’re allowed to waste time.
You’re allowed to be slow.
You’re allowed to rest without earning it.

Because being human isn’t about checking the most boxes.
It’s about choosing the ones that matter.

💬 Quote of the Day

“Beware the barrenness of a busy life.”
— Socrates
